Working Draft is looking for an enthusiastic team-player to pour beer and provide top-notch service in a family-friendly taproom.
This is a part-time position (3-5 shifts per week, 15-35 hours per week). Night, weekend, and partial holiday availability is required. This position reports to the Taproom Lead.
Beertender Role Priorities and Responsibilities
Provide excellent customer service with a smile, welcoming guests like friends
Ability to pour different types of beer into different styles of glassware consistently and efficiently
Show initiative and work both independently and collaboratively
Maintain sobriety while working
Execute current template(s) / checklist(s) / Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) during service to maintain a clean, organized, and efficiently run taproom
Perform other tasks as assigned
Beertender Skills and Requirements
Previous experience bartending or providing customer service
Ability to operate a tablet-based Point of Sale system
Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and honestly
Ability to acquire City of Madison Operators Permit
Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to maneuver full cases of beer and full kegs
Schedule
Part-time, with weekend and holiday hours required. 3-5 shifts a week preferred
Current taproom hours are as follows:
Monday - Thursday: 3pm to 10pm
Friday - Saturday: 12pm to 11pm
Sunday: 12pm to 7pm

Compensation
$8+ / hour (depending on experience level) plus tips
