Family friendly activities during the day like pumpkin painting, face painting, kids costume contest, and Halloween candy piñata.

In the evening, it’s our adults only party with psychic readings, adult costume contest, and a Halloween booze piñata!

We will also have several special brews and features for the day including: Pumpkin Spice Latte Stout, Pumpkin Amber Ale, Zombie Brain Jello Shots, spooky cocktails, and a special Apple Pie version of our popular Popthiccle!

Join us for our October 2024 edition of Madison, WI Astronomy on Tap!

Our line up for this month includes the following fascinating discussions:

— "Champagne supernovas: JWST's bubbly new take on the lives and deaths of stars" with Dr. Michelle Thaller from NASA (!)
— “Drops of Jupiter: A (Train) ride through the solar system and beyond” with NSF Postdoctoral Fellow Dr. Dan Rybarczyk

This really will be a treat, make sure you don’t miss it.

The evening will be filled with astronomy trivia, demos, and ample time to ask your local UW-Madison astronomers many questions!

Working Draft Beer Co has a full day planned for you!

We’ll be opening up at 11am to watch the awards presentation for the Great American Beer Festival, which is held each year out in Colorado. Hundreds of breweries from around the country send in beers to compete for the best beer in different styles of beer.

Working Draft sent five beers out to CO to see if we can add another medal to our collection (Klosterade Doppelbock won a gold medal in 2022).

Then starting at 1pm, The Weary Traveler is posting up to sling some delicious grub. Can’t wait!!!

Join us for a bike ride between two great breweries, Working Draft Beer Co and Delta Beer Lab!

• A group of riders will meet at Delta Beer Lab and another at Working Draft.

• Each group will leave at 2pm and head towards the other brewery. Here’s a route we’ll follow (return trip soon to follow)

• Once at the opposite brewery, each place will have a food truck if you need lunch or a snack.

• Revolution Cycles will escort the group that starts at Working Draft Beer Co. and Bikes for Kids will do the same from Delta

• Shockingly, each place will have beer!

• After 60-90 minutes of R&R, groups will reverse course and head back to home base.

• Make sure to wear your helmet with your Bike Benefits sticker, since both Delta and WDBC give discounts!

There is no cost to enter and you don’t have to pre-register, and we will be taking donations that will go towards Bikes for Kids, who work to make bike transportation accessible to all.

Join us at Working Draft Beer Company on Gallery Night, featuring Leona Zachery’s intricate depictions of architecture and nature! Explore her art on display while enjoying local brews, and participate in a Pen and Watercolor Art Lesson guided by Leona herself. Create a floral still life with a loose, playful approach to overcome perfectionism. Lessons run from 5:30-6:30 PM and 7:30-8:30 PM. A $10 donation to participate in the lesson is appreciated but not required. Come enjoy art, community, and creativity from 5-9 PM!

Join us for a relaxed art lesson, open to all skill levels! We'll start with a loose and expressive pen sketch of a floral still life, focusing on capturing texture and proportion. Afterward, we'll bring the piece to life by adding watercolor, all while learning to let go of perfectionism and see the artwork as a whole.

The Madison Makers Music Market at Working Draft Beer is coming on Saturday, September 7th! This single-venue market will feature a selection of makers who use their skills to share their love of music- the wordless artform that connects us all!

We are still working on the details but hope to be able to offer tons of entertainment including Music, Face Painting, Kids Crafts and Food Trucks!

This event is in lieu of the Summer Market usually scheduled for this time of year.

Hi there! I'm Leona--you can also call me Leo.

While I have a degree in Game Design from the University of Utah, art has always been my passion, leading me to explore various forms, from studio art and murals to cake decorating. I particularly enjoy illustrating buildings and natural elements, focusing on intricate details and balanced composition to create visually striking pieces. My motivation comes from exploring the city and celebrating the elements that bring people together.

When I'm not creating art, I enjoy watching horror movies, playing games with friends, and solving jigsaw puzzles.

If you'd like to work together, I'd love to bring your vision to life with a custom artwork!

Join us for our Great Taste of the Midwest pre-party!

For this event, we teamed up with our friends at Bavarian Bierhaus to make a Lichte Weisse. This low ABV (3.0%) take on a Hefeweizen features imported Weyermann wheat and a unique step-mash technique that increases esters and aroma while keeping the beer light and refreshing. Ever had this style before??

We will also have limited tappings from Bavarian Bierhaus, as well as our 13P Czech Lager, Eis Weissenbock, Rauchdarren, and even a Barleywine. Be sure to try these limited beers while available!

Join us for a fun evening celebrating Lager and Sausage with author Jesse Brookstein!

We will be tapping a special small-batch “Shortmunder” Lager at 5:30 that Jesse helped brew!

We’ll be serving three types of Bavaria Sausage Treberwurst-style by cooking them in our own spent grain after brewing. Plus we will be featuring Cranjaeger as a specialty landjaeger flavor.

Jesse will be on hand during the evening and will be available to sign purchased copies of his book “A Perfect Pair: The History of Landjaeger in Green County, Wisconsin” from 6:30-7:30.
